We occasionally are asked to hold rooms for an event that will bring out-of-town guests to Pittsboro. We cannot hold rooms.
From experience, if you have an event and think that your visitors will need rooms at Rosemary House, there are two ways to go:
1. Often, you aren’t sure who will be coming or where they’ll want to stay, and you anticipate that your visitors will pay for the rooms themselves. The recommended solution in this case is to encourage your visitors to book early at Rosemary House. The usual 6-day cancellation policy will apply.
2. This second solution works great when you know who will be using the rooms and you want to pay for them yourself. You make the reservation and send us a deposit for half the balance due. At this point, the rooms will be reserved for you, in your name. You can cancel any or all rooms up until 30 days prior to the arrival date. Thirty days prior to arrival, we will need the balance due, and the cancellation fee is one night’s rate per room unless all nights booked for that room are re-booked. We offer a 10% discount for booking all five rooms for two nights or more. This discount applies ONLY when a single individual makes the booking, pays in full 30 days prior to the arrival date, and there are no cancellations.
